Hi, I’m Joe and I have thoughts. Sometimes they won’t leave, so this blog is part thought exorcism, part self expression.

This is pure opinion and intrusive thoughts. I also worry that some of it might be patronising or that I’m mansplaining things, that is not my intention. I have realised that sometimes things I take as a given aren’t necessarily known to others, so I state what I think is the obvious.

Apologies if I’m teaching you to suck eggs, it comes from a desire to inform without assumption.

I’m into science fiction, horror, animation, low brow art, comics and film. I watch a LOT of films.

I’m approachable, silly, a science believer, atheist, positive nihilist and I have a mini existential crisis a day.

I’m a tattoo artist, I play bass and ‘sing’ in a wonky noise rock band.

I’m a white, cis man, also bi/pan/vers/he/him/hearse. I’m non-monogamous/polyamorous, an ambivert, Libra and a little bit demi. So, bad at decision making.

Neurotypical as far as I know…

Raging Leftie and believe that, much like the Tower of Babel, poor communication, language and a lack of truly understanding each other is the root cause of the worlds ills.

I also subscribe to the Dirk Gently idea about the ‘interconnectedness of all things’.
